Ah, springtime on the farm. The season of renewal, growth, and, most importantly—mud. Lots and lots of mud. If there's one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that no boot, no matter how sturdy, can withstand the pull of Worth the Wait Farm’s legendary spring mud pits. But this year, we’re ahead of the game. That’s right—we’ve officially declared war on the mud with our trusty UTV. Gone are the days of stepping confidently onto what looks like solid ground only to end up one sock deep in disaster. Now, we cruise over the mud like royalty, safe from the treacherous puddles that lurk around every corner. Is it excessive? Maybe. Is it life-changing? Absolutely. Of course, it's not all about mud dodging this season—spring is also delivering its annual dose of beauty and excitement. The flowers are starting to wake up and stretch toward the sun, and the greenhouse is buzzing with activity as seeds are planted, prepped, and encouraged to grow strong (with only mild pep talks). But perhaps the biggest news of the season? The piglets have arrived. And let’s just say they are already plotting farm-wide chaos. These little rascals have wasted no time testing their escape skills, ensuring that our mornings now include a game of "Catch the Sprinting Piglet." So far, they’ve lived up to their names: • Muddy McSnout – The fearless leader, always knee-deep in strategically placed puddles. • Hogatha Christie – The mastermind behind every great escape plan and general farm mischief. • Bacon Bits – Small but mighty, with a talent for getting into places he should not be. • Porkchop Houdini – A true escape artist, always slipping away right when you think you’ve got him. And let's not forget the shaggy, slightly disheveled goats—spring is their time to shed their winter coats, and right now they’re stuck in that awkward phase between fuzzy and fabulous. They're looking a little scruffy, a little patchy, and a lot like they just rolled out of bed after a long winter nap. It’s a seasonal fashion statement that says, “I survived winter, but at what cost?” So, as we welcome longer days, fresh blooms, endless mud, and a questionable amount of goat fur floating through the air, we also welcome the chaos, laughter, and adventure that comes with life on the farm.
